Message from the General Manager

Dear Partners

Globalisation is now well entrenched in our business life as well as in our personal life. As a country we compete with other nations of this world. While competition is a tangible factor in an export oriented economy like ours, we also now compete for imports of basic commodities such as rice and flour and essential commodities such as energy and cement.  Lately however, we are also competing to retain our talents and facing the stark realities of a buoyant labour market.

We at CINF see our role as a key partner of our customers to provide solutions to these challenges. We have focused our efforts on doing what we do best, we allow flexibility of choice and cost where required and we emphasize value where it is important. Executing on business strategies depends upon the gaps we see or not in skills and efficiency in the organisation's   processes as a whole. Thus, we need tools to help us measure where we are, model where we want to be and plan the way through.

The future of organisations depends on the ability to have access to information when it is needed for the reasons mentioned above. Our belief is that the organisation does not work best in a 'task' mode. What works are organisations which operate around shared objectives and where process crossovers never fall off. This calls for a process approach. Front end operations and business support functions such as HR and Finance need to be much closer and aligned today as the support required has to be farsighted and innovative in its application.

Our portfolio and services reflect our commitment to succeed in leveraging technology to provide solutions to those challenges we all face.  Through this newsletter, we hope to share with you as much insight and information as we have access to, through our experience and our partner resources. We would also see great value in getting your feedback and views on areas where we can add to your own reflection on how to improve your business.
